Meet Your Reading Buddy Pizza Party

A Special Event for the Weekly Reading Buddies Program

This Pizza Party event will introduce Kindergarteners to their 5th Grade Reading Buddies. 

​

  • Teachers will pair students together.​

  • The students will share a pizza lunch at the patio picnic tables.

  • After lunch, the students will create friendship bracelets together using plastic pony beads and elastic string.​

​​

Estimated Attendance: 120 students

​

Staffing and Support: Kindergarten and 5th Grade Teachers

will help supervise and facilitate this event.

​

Materials: 

Plastic Pony Beads

Elastic String 

Scissors
