My name is Kristin Perez, and I am an MLIS candidate at San José State University's School of Information. My passion for children's library services began in public libraries with my own four kids. As my children and I have moved all over the United States following my husband's military orders, we have always found a place to belong in libraries. I hope that this programming plan can inspire elementary school librarians to create a welcoming space filled with engaging programs that is exciting and encouraging for school children.
