Gingerbread House Building
A Special Event

6-8 pm
Cafeteria
Students and families are invited to build and decorate gingerbread houses in the cafeteria during this winter stories read aloud event. Each participant will receive a gingerbread building kit on a paper plate that includes graham crackers, frosting, decorative candies and sprinkles, and a plastic knife. While families work on their builds, guest readers will read winter-themed books. Cookies and Hot Cocoa will be served.

Marketing & Promotion:
Beginning in December, flyers will be posted to common areas, bathrooms, classrooms, in the cafeteria, and main office. During the week of December 8th, printed flyers will be sent home with students. Flyers will also be posted on school social media and communications platforms.
Staffing and Support:
The PTA will provide volunteers to serve snacks and assist with set-up, clean-up, and distributing building supplies. Teachers and staff will volunteer as guest readers.
