A culminating event to designed to celebrate the end of Book Club. Students will watch the major motion picture adaptation of The One and Only Ivan. There will be a display featuring read-alike books: shared themes of overcoming adversity and friendship, and other animal stories, as well as non-fiction books about animals, zoos, and circuses. After watching the movie, students will have the opportunity to check out new books.
