Cafeteria
Students and families are invited to participate in an engaging evening program.

This program will be presented in partnership with the local high school robotics club, ClubRED - Robotics, Engineering, Design. The high school students and club mentor will present their robotics builds and explain how they are preparing for their upcoming competition.

The librarian and ClubRED mentor will present a demonstration of how to use Terrapin Blue-Bots.
-
Students and families will use Blue-Bots with card mats and command cards to problem solve.

5:30 pm Welcome
5:35-6:10 pm High School ClubRED Presentation
6:10-6:30 pm Blue-Bot Demo
6:30-8:00 pm Blue-Bot Coding for Families
Food Trucks will be on site. Vendors will contribute 10% of sales as a donation to the Library.
Marketing & Promotion:
Beginning in January, Teachers will communicate about Robotics Night to their students’ families via ClassDoJo. Flyers will be posted to common areas, bathrooms, classrooms, in the cafeteria, and main office. Flyers will also be posted on school social media and communications platforms.
Staffing & Support:
ClubRED team members will volunteer to assist attendees with coding Blue-Bots.
Total Expenses: $4470
The purchase of tech for this event is funded by the Best Buy School Tech Grant.
